As someone interested in your TW5's application as an ebook reader, tell me
this. Wouldn't it be rather easier to hide the titlebar of the main content?

One of the objectives for several tw ebooks/apps is to have the user ADD
their own content even when the TW is d"disarmed" from editing access.
This would immensely handy for users / readers / viewers in maintaining
notes to "self", journal entries, ToDo lists even a basic "bookmarking"
note...
Currently you can not drag a file to TW5 and have it create a canonical
URI. That would be wonderful.
But you can use the local clip mode in tiddlyclip
(http://tiddlyclip.tiddlyspot.com/). Then, in a separate tab, you can
browse your file structure and images. Right click on the image you want,

Hi Hegart
Very sorry to hear of your health problems, but delighted that you are
recovering, and great to see you back in the group. Good luck for the future,
and here's to the recuperative power of hacking TiddlyWiki :)
Best wishes

Hi all,
Sorry to have been away from all the action here for so long. I've had a
very challenging past few months. Spent much of that time in hospital after
multiple seizures and a major heart attack. I'm slowly getting back into
life again now, and catching up with what's been going on here. I
Thanks, Tobias.
It's good to know the problem wasn't just me.

Hi Novan,
I have made a pull request to the core to hopefully fix that issue:
*allows to add a new tagname hitting enter*
https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5/pull/2592/
The problem was in this line in core/modules/editor/engines/simple.js:
https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5/pull/2592
If you put the action widgets inside the keyboard widget it works. On the
example wiki you have this works:
<$keyboard key="enter">
<$fieldmangler>
<$action-sendmessage $message="tm-add-tag" $param={{$:/temp/NewTagName}}/>
<$action-setfield $tiddler="$:/temp/NewTagName" $field="text" $value=""/>
On the flash cards wiki I made I had the same problem and I thought that
was what I did to fix it. It looks like I am wrong. I will try to look at
it some more later.

You could try adding an extra action-setfield widget after clearing the
input. I think that is how I got around this problem before. Add
<$action-setfield $tiddler='$:/temp/NewTagName' tags=''/>
after everything else and see if that triggers a refresh that will put the
correct input in the text
Hi Novan,
For what it's worth, hitting enter definitely empties *$:/temp/NewTagName*
or would delete it if you were to use:
<$action-deletetiddler $tiddler="$:/temp/NewTagName"/>
However, apparently, upon refreshing, the edit-text widget
must still be retrieving the previous value before that ha
