I switched to Iron portable version (a Chrome variant) and that solved
the first issue (now saving without retrusting every session). It's
from srware.net (standard, portable, linux and mac versions available)
and it's also available at portableapps.com

I remember now having used TW a year ago with the standard (=fully
installed) version of Firefox and I had no such issue. So you are
right folks, it has to be related to the USB version of Firefox but I
have no clue as problem persists even with full javascript and cookies
authorizations.

I recently found out QtWeb, a light portable browser. It's an open
source project based on Nokia's Qt framework and Apple's WebKit
rendering engine.
It can easily be skinned off of all of its toolbars so it looks like a
good simple option for plain TiddlyWiki viewing but I can
java
support yet. So this may be the reason. TiddlySaver.jar is java, as
far as I know.

Lastest MPTW is 2.5.3 so it may be the cause of your problem, unless
you've built yours with recent TW upgrades so it has all 2.6.2. If so
then I have no clue.
You already read this page I guess but just in case it helps anyhow:

It suits my purpose perfectly. Thank you.
2 minor bug-like things I noticed (they should not impact my intended
use) :
-if I use instead of a number for the limit parameter, the command
(I mean the tiddler... thing) opens nothing but it works if I
ignore the limit (no value, no ). I put 99 as a
Hello,
The title could also be Show me these BookTitleHere tiddlers as if I

I plan to use a tiddlywiki file to make a compilation of abstracts I
write from my favorite (non-fiction) books.

About issue 1), I use Ctrl+Enter after editing and it brings me to the
top of the tiddler. I'm new to TW (using MPTW) and can't tell if it's
a basic feature or not.
I share your annoyance about issue 2) : focus on the top (=title) of
the new lowermost tiddler would be more user-friendly, as well
I'm looking for a way to keep the number of tags associated to a
single tiddler to a minimum, mostly for display convenience.
But I feel it's not a good approach in general and for some plugins
effectiveness (like TagCloud I may starting using) in particular. So I
may not use this method.
Hi again,
I am wondering if from the TW code point of view, tagging a tiddler
with A, B and C is different from tagging it B, A and C. In other
words, does the order in which tags are added matter ? Can it bring
useful possibilities ?
If so, I'd like to know how you eventually use this aspect,
Thank you Eric for this (once more) clear and accurate answer.

OK, TW being so full of possibilities it's a relief to be able to
discard some :-)
Thanks again. I'll then simply stick to placing the most relevant/
accurate tag at the beginning of the Tags field.

Nice work. I like those peaceful nature tones.
I'm OK on Mocha atm (thanks M. Saq Imtiaz) but I'll give 'Bamboo Gone
Wild' a try for sure.

Basically, in a tiddler A, it renders a list of all other tiddlers
tagged A.
As I've started using TiddlyWiki with MPTW (thank you Mr.Bairds), I've
been taking this aspect for granted and have not been into advanced
list uses yet.
Thank you for pointing out the core of it. And thanks all for

Hello,
I'm happily using Mocha theme since yesterday and made a few minor
color and layout changes.
One thing I'd like to modify still is out of my little knowledge.
Instead of being displayed in a column on the right side of the
tiddler, I'd rather see the tags in a row starting from the
I'm into explicit and long tiddler titles and the 2006 CSS tweak for
long tiddler titles from gkw* keeps the timeline easy and pleasant to
read thanks to reverse indent (i.e. hanging indent).
I'd like to know if working around the word-wrap parameter could bring
a sort of broken-off preview of
Hello,
I'm a new TiddlyWiki user and I ask myself the same questions about
this plugin present usefulness.
I disabled it to see what would be missing but did not notice any
difference.
I may be short-sighted or simply not gaining the true benefit of it
