Thanks Jed,
Nice. Everything seems okay now. You are getting ready for Oxford.

That was because I wrote bundle_size instead of bundleSize in a few places
in the code so there was an error and bundles from wikis with that version
of the plugin weren't delivered. It should be fixed in the new version but
in the future I should be more careful when pushing changes at 2am.
Hi Jed,
Late last night I saw a post @twederation telling us to update the plugins.
I did so. Marked the twcards I follow and tried to fetch. I would have
expected to be able to fetch at least the latest blog post telling us to
update plugins. I seem not be fetching from twederation anymore
Ah. The bundle name field was pre-filled on mine, so I ignored it. Cleared
it out and now I can fetch Jed's latest "Wall" post. I've added a comment.
Thanks!

Hi Mark,
I have been able to fetch blog posts and comments, and when I have fetched
them, they are also shown on the "wall". Be careful not to have anything in
Bundle Name (I had forgotten an earlier test) - and then of course nothing
works ;-).
I think there might be a problem with Messages
Should we be able to fetch and view posts to the "wall" ? I tried fetching
messages and blog posts, but neither resulted in your latest wall post
showing up.
Thanks,
Mark

So many updates! Although this is just to say that I am going to stop
posting here unless there is something that will be of general interest. If
you want twederation-specific news before we are ready to try and get more
beta testers (which should be soon) go over to
The cards are of type Wiki twCards, so you could write a filter, and delete
the ones you do not want to keep.

Is there a way to delete all those cards?
Thanks!

Things are working well enough that I can actually work on usability parts
instead of just basic functions, so there is now a wall that displays blog
posts from everyone in order. There are other things like now you can see
how many tiddlers are in a bundle that haven't already been unpacked.
I have done some more updates that mostly have to do with back-end things,
but it does mean that all of the twCards that were on
twederation.tiddlyspot.com have been deleted and only cards from wikis that
actually work are now there. This means that we currently have
twederation.tiddlyspot.com
Just updating the plugins should be fine if you have an existing wiki.

In general, when testing, it's best to start with a clean slate so you know
that everything relates to the latest version. Jed said he had moved code
out of the core, which suggested to me that a drag/drop upgrade might leave
two versions of the code in place, which would not be good.

Considering that the plugin could charitably be called a usable beta I am
not planning on adding it to a plugin library yet.

Hi Mark,
What do you mean by making new TWED and starting over. Isn't upgrading the
plugins enough? By doing so I did fetch a blogpost and also a comment to a
post I had written. For messages have you tried the filter option to get
messages written for YOU.

Hi Jed,
I think the reason you're getting bogus entries is that your wizard looks
too nice ;-) It invites people to go step by step ... without explaining
the precursor steps:
1. Download the latest twederation
2. Save to site you're planning to work from
3. Configure Twed to save
4. NOW
Where is your wiki hosted? You could try writing a post and pulling things
from everyone else to test it out.

Um, sorry for sounding dumb about this, but now that I filled out a twcard
and can't remember what I put in it, I'm not sure what to do next.

And for those of you who already have wikis, make sure you get the new
version of both the twederaion-core and twederation-edition plugins. If you
don't have a wiki yet and want to try it out go to
http://ooktech.com/jed/ExampleWikis/TWederation/ and follow the
instructions.
