I feel embarrassed but I don't know what a hook is despite its literal
meaning.
There's quite a good explanation at Wikipedia:

So, for TW, it's a way for plugins to intercept internal core operations so
that they can modify their behaviour.
Not to confuse with what this guy does with a hook :)

I'm not sure what should I do on tiddler delete.
To me, deleting means that revisions go too. If you want to recover deleted
tidbits (along with revisions), there'd have to be a trash.
