Only valid at the beginning of line it should be rare that a clash would
occur.

I think I raised this previously, that perhaps one glyph should resort to
the element being equal to the symbol.
Why?
Because a large set of possibilities are opened up even without using the
customise pragma just some defaults.
Eg;
'tr
would expect /tr and wrap the content in
