I don't know if this is the same problem, but in TurboVNC, we had
numerous reports of key mapping issues when people were using Gnome as
the window manager. This turned out to be a Gnome bug, and there are a
couple of ways to work around it, but the easiest was to add
export XKL_XMODMAP_DISABLE=1
Hi, I'm running tigervnc with the patches for Xorg server 1.7 and XKB.
The problem I'm looking at is that in an xterm window, -','
should emit '<', but it wrongly emits '>'.
All other shifted keys work well. In fact, hitting any shifted key and
then adding ',' (without letting go of the key)
