Assuming you are in the northern hemisphere ...
You want a good view of the southern sky. You don't need to see due north
+/- about 45 degrees unless you are closer to the north pole than I suspect
you are. There are some minor benefits to being well above ground, but once
you get a good sky

I know I repeat my self. I have done so far four sewer vents using a 4 way
PVC splitter, sanding the side stubs down and glue a white GPS antenna
flush on the top. 4 way so air comes in or out on the sidesRun the coax down
the inside of the pipe, fish it out at the best location, seal the

Hi,
I received one of those boards from the usual Chinese supplier. I tried
to power it up according to the specs but the DC/DC converter doesn't start.
Tracing the power path, I find that after protective diodes and fuses,
the -48 V line is interrupted by a power MOSFET and the question is:
I'm sorry but disregard my last. I don't know what was happening before
but it is running.
Now to connect LH and start the fun

Check the converter specs, some offer a optional on/off pin when powered. The

One of my Dave Barry books contains a short segment about someone having

I've recently acquired one of these, primarily to use as an alternative to (and
for comparison with) my Thunderbolt. This was a DC model that was inoperative
when I received it and at $225 (price from the OEM) to replace the failed DC-DC
converter, I installed an AC supply. So far, so good. The
