I decided to try my hand at creating an infographic. InfoGraphics are really
not a new idea - just the act of translating data into an appealing visual, but
infographics have become all the rage in the twitterverse. I based this
infographic on two pieces of very interesting research:

This would have taken me HOURS and I'm not at all convinced that students will
LEARN better :(
But it is impressive. Unfortunately this is an EXTREMELY minor part of anything
that I teach, so it's not very useful for me. I'd like to see some on more

Part of the reason I did this was to find out how long it would take. The
answer: too long. I'd say between reading the article, sketching up some ideas
for graphics on a piece of paper, finding the clipart, then putting the whole
thing together using LineForm took about 6 hours.
