I was raised in the U.P. of Mich. and was living in northern Mich in 1981
when
got TM. at age 55. Thirty years ago many believed that living in the north was
a
contributing factor for TM.

I had blurred vsion after taking neurotin for about three years. I stopped
taking it for other reasons and went an othamoligist and had catarack surgery
and the new glasses cleared it all up. That was abou ten yrs ago, I am now 84.

I have had tm since 1981. In the hospital itt felt like a steel band

Just a suggestion, I have used a catheter only, using clean cath for over 25

as the result of a nurse suggesting it. I opted to use only that to avoid

Yesterday was not a good one, Janet had run a temperature of 104 early
inthe morning Friday, yesterday heart was kept going only by her pacemaker.
They tried to lower the breathing tube, but she could not br

kidneys were doing better. I wish I had a more positive report.
She is in an icu , and she is not awake enough to read cards or appreciate

Hi Barbara, thanks for the reply, we have some of the same results of tm. My left hand and right leg are the most affected. My right leg has always been undependable. The last five years both hips and knees have let me down quite often.
I guess I can't complain too much, I'll be 82 April first.
Rick welcome back, I am sorry to hear of your hospital stay, and I hope they found the help you need. TM is bad enough, and any of these other ailments are some times hard to understand. You are in my prayers.

I have had TM since 1981 and in that time I haven't had a dozen days without pain. Sometimes days it gets hard to bear, but I gave up the so called pain relievers, all I take now is a couple of anacin for headaches. My pain is from the waist, where I still have banding , to my feet.
