[Tn5250j-general] CPF4169 Error
TN5250J Users and/or Developers, The company I work for is in the process of converting to LTL/400. When I try to access LTL/400 from TN5250J I get a CPF4169 device file does not contain an entry for screen size error. Using other terminal emulators I figured out that LTL/400 only works with model 5 terminals. But even with my TN5250J session set as a model 5 terminal I still get the CPF4169 error. Is there perhaps a setting I'm missing somewhere? -- Kevin http://www.RawFedDogs.net http://www.Lassie.xyz http://www.WacoAgilityGroup.org Bruceville, TX What's the definition of a legacy system? [Tn5250j-general] Word Wrap?
TN5250J Users and/or Developers, I started using TN5250J a while back. I found while searching for a 5250 terminal emulator for Linux that included enhanced mode features. One thing it seems to be missing is word wrap for continued fields. Searching the mailing list archives I found some old posts saying that word wrap had been partially implemented. Are there any plans to complete the word wrap functionality? -- Kevin http://www.RawFedDogs.net http://www.Lassie.xyz http://www.WacoAgilityGroup.org Bruceville, TX What's the definition of a legacy system? [Tn5250j-general] Linux Focus Problem
TN5250J Users and/or Developers, I've been using TN5250J for a while now. It works great at work, where I'm stuck with using Windoze. At home on Linux it has one annoying feature. If I switch the focus to another program then back to TN5250J it ignores all keyboard input until I click somewhere in the window with the mouse. Naturally unless I click right where the cursor is it moves the cursor. For me reaching for the mouse is a last resort. I prefer to do as much as I can from the keyboard. The focus problem may be related to the window manager I use, dwm. Has anyone else experienced similar focus issues. Is there any other way to get TN5250J to start accepting keyboard input without reaching for the mouse? -- Kevin http://www.RawFedDogs.net http://www.Lassie.xyz http://www.WacoAgilityGroup.org Bruceville, TX What's the definition of a legacy system?
