- Why setup domainb.com on the server, if you are going to bounce everything
for domainb.com, i.e. as highlighted before remove the alias.

You dont need to recompile vpopmail, if you are OK with having the feature
POP before SMTP. POP before SMTP means a POP user who has successfully
logged/checked in can relay. If you dont want this to happen, recompile
vpopmail as Bill suggested. I think this feature can be disabled via
Recompile the tcp.smtp file with only:
:allow,QMAILQUEUE=/var/qmail/bin/simscan
Remove all other access controls.
The above will only allow your server to recieve/relay emails for
local/virtual domains. Nothing else will be relayed unless authenticated.
