I built Tomcat 4.1 with Jasper 2 from CVS a few days ago and encountered a number of problems with the JSP's in the example web app. I recommend testing the 4.1.0 build first if you want to test 4.1. At least this rules out possible build errors. A number of the JSP's returned empty pages

Well I changed the apr libs I was using and had the same errors. I'm using the Worker MPM. Side Note: I would also like to know why the webapp connector is being deprecated. It may need a little work, but it's ease of configuration is a great feature. I am concerned with it's performance
