I am creating a xml document using JSP. The JAVA codes in JSP creates blank
lines in xml document. How can I remove this or how can I don't create. I
will appreciate any help.

from Tomcat 4.1, but the start tomcat from Tomcat 4.1 is working fine. I am
running my web apps from Tomcat 4.1 without any problem. What am I doing
wrong? Please help me. I need to change to newer version due to performance

checks if JDK is installed and if not, it exits the installation.
Why does it need the JDK? All my target PCs have JREs installed. What should

I am running Apache SSL (mod_jk) + Tomcat 3.2.1 on Solaris 7.0. The
application runs fine, but each jsp page takes a while to load, even a
simple "Hello World" jsp page. The server is not running any other
applications. I am running Sun JDK 1.3.
The same application runs on a Linux and a Windows
I have both apache and tomcat working on the same folder
c:\tomcat\webapps\ROOT. I pointed apache's directoryroot to that folder.
Works fine for me - apache serves static html content, and passes jsp
requests to tomcat, which finds those files in the same folder.
Using this you don't need any
Copy your files to the ROOT folder under e:\tomcat\webapps and that should
work.
If you have your files in a separate folder under webapps, then you can
access it via http://localhost:8080/foldername
