I have spent the last three days looking at all the JK2 docs,
and all the
sites, and even checked the archives of this list. I believe
I have done my
due diligence on doing
I think the stock server.xml comes preconfigured for stand alone and the tomcat-apache
is commented out. I don't run stand alone; Here is what mine looks like for out of
process communication with Apache:
Server port=8005 shutdown=SHUTDOWN debug=4
Service name=Tomcat-Apache-dev
Connector
AFAIK, the default install has a connector on port 8009 enabled for JK and
JK2.

1) Apache 2.0.43 was installed and works great on
2.0.43 and Tomcat 4.1.18
