Connection Pooling with Tomcat 4.0.3?

Hi there, we use tc4.0.3 and setup a datasource in server.xml. When meassuring the time to get a JDBC connection we get results between 100 and 1000 ms. I was expecting results like 5-50 ms. Is there any connection pooling enabled at all? Do I need to do some additional

/ as path for my webapp

Hi there, I'd like to assign the / as path for my webapp (cocoon). How do I specify that? I tried to copy the servlet and mapping from the web.xml out of the cocoon.war, but with no success. It seems to me that it doesn't recognize the libraries then?!? Any thoughts? Mariano
