Feel free to shoot this down in flames, but wouldn't the JMX approach be more appropriate? If the only connector you have is the mod_jk, then testing for serving of pages will be a bit of a bugger to write, but an attempt to connect to the Tomcat instance MBean ( ServerLifeCycleListener? ) would

Hello All, Apologies if this has been brought up already, but I have a slightly odd problem with filter-mapping in Tomcat 4.1.x ( I've tried under 4.1.24 and 4.1.29 ), which works fine under Windows 2K. I am using j2se 1.4.1_03 and have tried j2se1.4.2_03 ( with 64 bit extension ) with j2ee 1.3.1
