I have the same problem if I add libraries to the tomcat service configuration. If I don't do that, then everything works ok! I used service.bat to install Tomcat as a service. The startup.bat from Tomcat should work anyway! It might however take some time before you get some text in your DOS bo

You could just place the jar file in the WEB-INF classes directory. A problem might be that you ftp the jar files to it with the wrong setting, it should be binary. I thought that you have to change web.xml to read your WEB-INF directory. ___ Alexander van Bruchem Wind
