Just double the length of the phasing lines and then they will reach.

Hi All,
I am thinking of a new Beverage that passes fairly near
(50ft) of A tower that is not used on transmit as a vertical but is probably
resonant in the 1.5-2.5mhz region. I would like it not add any noise to
the beverage, a big ask I think.
Is it just best
Albeit video taped in March, still...not THE most hospitable location EVEN in
full sun, one would expect!

Hello
Is there any problem if a beverage is not 100% on the same direction?
Start at feed point with 70 ft going to 0 degrees and then 830 ft going to
40 degrees
Will be any problem with this or will be OK for a 40 degrees (Europe)

Hi Jorge,
Beverages don't have to be either straight or level.
It would be better if it was straighter, but if that's all you can do at
your QTH then by all means put it up that way.
My Europe/Australia Beverage has a 15 degree bend in it and hears great.
I didn't model your description, but I

Hi Jorge,
If your Beverage is bidirectional, the reflection transformer ground is
more important. If just a single wire, less so.
I use radials. See

Also the difference between Mix 31 and 43 is not great and was used for
decades successfully before 31 was introduced.
For a non-critical application like this almost anything would work with
enough core depth and/or turns, but they are not nearly the same. There is a

Hey guys.
I saw a few items in a Google search where guys had converted their
full-size G5RV into a T antenna on 160m. It had something to do with adding
the obligatory counterpoise and shorting the feedline. This would turn the
antenna from a horizontal radiator to a vertical radiator.
I've got QRM around the house. I haven't identified where it is
coming from but between Amtraks overhead power lines 100' away and a
confluence of HV overheads perhaps a plasma set or two nearby, I
have to move my Rx antenna. I've killed the power to the house ran
