Lately, my SB Touch has been exhibiting an odd problem relating to how
both albums and tracks are added to the current playlist. Adding an
album in SB Server 7.5 results in a scrambled track order, and single
tracks added to an existing playlist are added randomly, not at the end
of the playlist.
Is there any possibility of screen burn in with the touch? I've been
running my touch constantly for around 3-6 hours a day some days and it
has just occurred to me that this might be an issue. I don't
particularly want the function controls burnt into the screen, nor the
date when using a date/ti
No I hadn't, given the price difference: $189 v. $499 for comparable
refurbished units. What would be the advantage given my setup and

Hi Scott! Welcome to the Squeezebox forum! I've run into this too. It
seems (at least to me) that iTunes artwork isn't compatible with
anything else, but... iTunes. I could be wrong, though. I usually end
up using a program like mp3tag, along with wikipedia searches, to add
album artwork, so that
I cannot get my album artwork to show up. I am using iTunes as my
library but all I get is the little round record. Some show up but I
think they are the ones purchased from iTunes (I think).
Any help will be appreciated.

I agree with John's statement about your current mini-itx having a lot
more processing power than the Touch. Re SBS versions, you need SBS
7.5.0 or higher for the Touch. And it's written in Perl, just like
7.3.3.

Can I use my old SqueezeCenter 7.3.3 with Touch?
I had problems with 7.5
It would freeze on scanning music files, so I had to downgrade to older
version.
I think there is also a difference in programing language between those
two versions.

Figured it out. I had the setting for "Now Playing" to show 1000 songs.
Evidently that was too much for the server. When I reduced it to 100 it
worked fine.
Hopefully this will help anyone who might run into a problem.

My Touch is connected to a WD USB-drive. The drive goes to sleep after
some minutes, but this doesn't seem to kill tinySBS. Still, it cannot
any longer display the OFF screensaver.

Its most likely was resizing a very large image file, this can take a
large amount of memory. To see more detail for a specific task you go
to:
settings->advanced->logging
This is a list of all the different tasks. For each you can choose a

I now also have Favorite icons(with logo)on my Logitech Harmony Remote.

I use an ipod & hate itunes. It's a portable device.

Nice review...and I agree with the 'conclusion':
The Touch has good sound quality, but in concept the Duet-Controller
setup is the way to go.
The Touch might have been a blind reciever with high quality DAC's and
