Thanks for the all your comments - I'll look into a re-scan and
investigate the logs some time soon. I have been slowly tidying up tags
over the last year or so, but there is probably still some messiness in
there - my heart isn't really into spending an age on it since it's of
very limited value
Why do you seem to like doing things the hard way?
The coax SPDIF from the Touch is more than up to the job.

Yes "clear and rescan everything" should take a long time "scan for new
and changed should be a short thing " .
Unless do you regularly change *all*the files with some oth

Yep, new and changed for me (70k tracks) takes a few short minutes. I
wonder if your long times is because you have a lot of untagged files.

via album and artist is much faster than browsing folders ever can be .

I accept that the LMS system has been, sadly, designed to work primarily
through searching Tags. However, for many of us, perhaps especially with
significant "classical" collections, selection via music folder will
always be the first choice for much of our listening. As my collection
grows, it's

Hello,
I have the rDac and have been using it with the EDO module but not TT3.
I've just installed TT3 and I get clicks and pops too.
I've had a quick play around with the buffer settings from the tt
command over ssh and also with the buffer settings from the EDO "buffer
tuning (experimental)"
with new firmware Nov 30 2012, Anti mode 2.0 supports SBT much better.
The most important upgrade is that Asynchronous audio transmission in
USB mode for improved audio quality!!

You need to do a software upgrade for this.

Tried this plugin on the one album I have encoded in 24/192, and while
it seemed to be playing, I heard nothing. So for the time being I have
uninstalled it - do I need to restore factory settings to remove the
custom kernel also?
Might try again if anyone could suggest why I heard only silence.
