Don't know if anybody else had asked, but is your touch really
outputting 192? Does your DAC display what is being fed? If (for some
reason) your Touch is outputting or is understood by the server to be
only 96 capable, the server (as I understand) will downsample to 96,

Hmmm... quite a good thought! As I understand it the DAC (built into my
DENON AVR2113) is supposedly capable of converting 24/192 (according to
Denon). I am using the EDO app as per this thread and expect that 24/192
is being sent over the TosLink to the DAC input. The

The Touch doesn't do 24/192 over Toslink.
Try a coax connection instead.
Chris :)

Chris, thanks for that. I will try using a coaxial input. It will take a
few days, I have to get hold of a right angle connector at one end as
the Touch is wall mounted and there is very limited room

Yes, indeed it does :-), but many optical receivers aren't capable of
that.

true, even DACs that handle 24/192 via USB or S/PDIF coax sometimes
can't handle 24/192 via optical/toslink. This is sometimes glossed
I think it has more to do with your sbt setting than the dac. If the dac
is not 192 capable, it'll usually just be silent or make ugly noise. I
would check if you had actually enabled Edo properly. I remember in the
Edo menu, you can actually see what frequency is being output.

Should be on the sbt, but I can't recall where it is exactly.

Ok, thanks. Will take a more thorough look thru the SBT later after
work.
Cheers, :o

That page is under AUDIO SETTINGS and has the following options:
DIGITAL ANALOGUE OUT
DIGITAL OUT ONLY
I am not connecting to USB with DAC so it is not an option.
With a bit of experimenting I now know
