Hmmm... quite a good thought! As I understand it the DAC (built into my
DENON AVR2113) is supposedly capable of converting 24/192 (according to
Denon). I am using the EDO app as per this thread and expect that 24/192
is being sent over the TosLink to the DAC input. The DENON does not tell
me much but I have been curious about the display showing "Fs 96"
whenever I play one of the files... You could be correct. Either the DAC
is only capable of 96... or the NAS thinks that the Touch is only
capable of 96. How do I work out which it is?
