LMS is running on MacBook
I didn't think a factory reset would downgrade the firmware either. That
must have come from mysqueezebox.com.

No, not flakey at all. Rock solid and usually just works. But something
is causing you problems. Are you sure the touch and LMS are on same
network and subnet, etc.

It's not clear to me if the OP is just expecting the Touch to switch
automatically to the LMS server of if they used the Touch menu to select
the LMS server. It should connect straightaway if you've selected an LMS
server (check it's running properly, e.g. by looking at it via a web
