I run LMS on Win7 laptop without issue. Sure you are running LMS as
Administrator? Can you open the Control Panel (right click the LMS icon
in System Tray)?
If yes, what does it say in Control Panel > Diagnostics for all pings,
ports, IP's?

I am don't think I can help you very much as I haven't used Windows for
years. However if you are reinstalling I would suggest you stop LMS
service (in Linux I would issue a command in terminal, not sure about
windows). Then Uninstall LMS in Control Panel /Programs and then make
sure there are no

I have had a lot of problems with getting Logitech Media Server and
Squeezebox Touch to work properly. I am now in the process of
reinstalling Logitech Media Server on my Windows 7 64 bit machine. Is
there a source providing step by step instructions on how to set up all
