I run LMS on Win7 laptop without issue. Sure you are running LMS as Administrator? Can you open the Control Panel (right click the LMS icon in System Tray)? If yes, what does it say in Control Panel > Diagnostics for all pings, ports, IP's? The server settings in LMS > Settings > MySqueezeBox.c

I am don't think I can help you very much as I haven't used Windows for years. However if you are reinstalling I would suggest you stop LMS service (in Linux I would issue a command in terminal, not sure about windows). Then Uninstall LMS in Control Panel /Programs and then make sure there are no
