I've installed the EDO plugin via the supported way and the menues of the Touch with sighted help now, but the DAC is still not found, Its the DAC-40 from Accuphase. It has also RCA digital and a optical input, so I can also use this and there is no need for USB, just wanted to try But I

Did you check the spreadsheet on EDO thread post #1 (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?94512-Announce-Enhanced-Digital-Output-app-USB-Dac-and-192k-Digital-Ouput=699737=1#post699737 ) for your DAC - for many DACs it gives hints about whether hubs, kernel etc may be needed.

When you reboot the Touch (press button on left back above power port), you will see a startup message about EDO being loaded. It is in the upper left of the screen and maybe you can see it flash by if not totally blind. Not sure why you went the route you did with installing EDO. The
