A lot of the price difference is accounted for by different sellers.
Amazon themselves have been selling at £135 but when their stock is
exhausted, the price goes up to the lowest available from one of the
partners. When they get new stock the price goes back down again.

I just checked mine on std delivery and they use HDNL which I think is
yodel. I've only used them 3 times (none through choice) and had
problems every time. They are totally useless grrr

Yep, got mine too, fortunatley I looked at the right time. Got the

which the price jumps straight back up to £248. What is the point of
that? Its just irritating and it certainly wont make me buy it at the

Got my £165 blemished box Touch, very happy with it. Oddly enough the
box didn't appear to be blemished at all (the device or the packaging)
Only quibble I have about the touch so far (same as with the Radio) is
that a lot to the config (menu items etc) have to be configured from
the device
I think it must be a dying product - I ordered from amazon on the 26th
nov and have just had an email saying they cant supply it. I have
spoken to Amazon customer support and it is now end of line apparently.
Get em while you can.

I missed all these deal, drat. Out of frustration i went and bought a
Touch at PCWorld for £199 today as that is still the cheapest I could
find. So got a Touch at long last so happy but £75 out of pocket for
being a bit slow, no happy.

Well I like it so far. It didnt find my Logitech Media Server 7.7
though. I had to add it as another library I think then all ok. Also I
noticed it had claimed it was using my external IP address rather than
a 192.168.1.x address so something a bit odd there.
The only real problem I have found

Just as an update to my earlier problems. By a great deal of
perseverance and sheer doggedness I managed to upgrade the firmware to
7.7 9550. When this firmware is installed, a timeout occurs when
mysb.com access fails on initial setup.
You are then prompted to connect to an alternative server .
Currys also had this offer over the weekend but the Touch is now off
their website too! Has anyone who ordered from PC World or Currys
received theirs yet or even confirmation of delivery??

'Connecting to mysqueezebox.com' which displays itself after the
network connection has been made.
I have tried everything to get through this initial startup phase. I'm
connected wired. Diagnostics show all ports open and ping
Try factory resetting it. I have never managed to get a radio/touch to
work without doing so after the first try.

I bought mine from PC World at around 10.30 yesterday. Right after that
the offer vanished from the PC World website.
However, I had reported to Amazon that there was a better price offer
available than their £199. It took them about 30 minutes to match the
PC world price. But because PC World

have the duet and not sure i have done the right thing but at the price
it is a steal. What is the overall opinion of these, a bit mixed from
