Remember that one needs to reset the SBT when changing from USB to SPDIF
output (reference the first pos in this thread).
Settings > Advanced > Digital Output > Select Digital Output > Digital
Only or USB-Audio

I can vouch for the fact that it does - 192k though is VERY DAC

So I think it is somewhat network related. Went to play some 192k over
Toslink and got the same re-buffering issue that I was getting on USB
earlier. Come to find out, kid was streaming Amazon on the same 2.4
channel.
Interestingly, after the Amazon streaming was done, I tested the Toslink
and
