Your PC is fine; my server is a very low-powered Atom-based PC. As an experiment I suggest changing the Wi-Fi from the 2.4 GHz to the 5 GHz band or vice versa, and/or connecting via wired LAN, or just to see what happens. Maybe your Wi-Fi signal is being bounced around to it in a way the Touch doesn't like. Stranger things have happened.
