After I posted this I went and tried the most obvious first step, remove
the files, re-index, replace the files, and re-index. That worked.

I've ripped the Johnny Cash American series and a few tracks from one
album are showing the Artist as the parent folder (-Johnny Cash -
American 1-6, flac-). Again, it is only the last four tracks on one
album. The artist and album artist tag are both -Johnny Cash- but LMS
shows artist as -Johnny

Many thanks for your time and patience. I have now sorted it and now
have Spotty loaded, and I'm listening to Spotify on my SBT controlled by
my phone. Ace!
For your information my NAS is definitely a DS116.

I've updated the LMS version on my NAS and in Server Settings >
Information it is showing this:-

I've been out all morning, not had chance to reply.

It was not an afterthought - the expectation was there
Its difficult to help if you dont give any information. Head over to
Settings/Advanced/Spotty and authenticate. Restart your player should it
not show the plugin in its menus.
And if that fails then you might want to give us the information Ive
been asking for...
