Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Has anyone a Squeezebox Touch remote left over?
My long experience with remotes is if they work the first 30 days then they'll pretty much last as long as the device...battery leakage aside. Frustrated, I got myself a Logitech Harmony 300 programmable remote control unit and I'm very happy with it. It works seemlessly with my Touch, so might like to consider that option. Or, if you want to go free on Android, a lot of people enjoy the Squeezer App and the official App by Logitech "Logitech Squeezebox Controller" works fine, as well. Also, the SqueezeCommander App, which a lot users recommend, is currently on sale. Download Squeeze Ctrl to your Phone or Tablet for $5 .. It is far better and more intuitive than the Remote for the SBT. You will thank me for this !! Ok good to know. At least it has a different battery. But I would miss the other functions. If you don't require certain functions and a keypad, you can get a BOOM remote for cheap on ebay. When I had a Touch without a remote I bought one from this seller and it worked great. http://www.ebay.com/itm/222144432360 Fizbin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58734 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106231 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
