All Squeezebox device I have bought came with a remote control.
The Duet has a wifi control instead of IR.

In my case it was not wifi with the B speakers - but that was simply
an example of a wireless remote (I think it uses infrared but I don't
have it to hand).
In that particular case the speakers plugged into a Linux player running
SqueezePlay via USB.

I don't like picking up an iPhone or iPad to do simple quick functions
during music playback such as volume and pause on a Squeezebox Touch.
I would also like to avoid the use of the Duet Controller.
Whereas iPeng for example is excellent - I would rather use a simple
little plastic r/c for
