Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] problems with Wi-Fi
For some unknown reason, but Touch is remaining connected to the Wifi. I did not do anything, it started working again on its own. Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] problems with Wi-Fi
As a test, once I got the Touch connected to my Wi-Fi I left it on a radio station to stream overnight. It has been running for 9.5 hours. Assuming the Touch uses more power while operating than in standby mode, I am going to conclude it likely means the power supply is okay. Past observations it appears while in standby mode, the Wi-Fi will disconnect after a perhaps few hours, but I really don't know because I am not watching it. strange behavior. Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] problems with Wi-Fi
if the PSU is in slow failure mode you can replace it with something like this https://www.amazon.com/MyVolts-adaptor-compatible-Logitech-Squeezebox/dp/B00GQVG8Q2/ref=pd_lpo_1?pd_rd_i=B00GQVG8Q2=1 The WiFi card in the Touch may not be compatible with more recent WiFi setups, so a bridging device and wiring the Touch to that would fix the problem. [SlimDevices: Touch] problems with Wi-Fi
My Touch recently keeps dropping from the Wi-Fi network. When I attempt to reconnect, it will discover the SSID, but it will not reconnect. I get the failed message. After power off and on, or a factory reset the Wifi will reconnect again. The behavior is very similar to the wifi6 interference problem with the SB Radio, which I do suffer from. However, I have not had a problem with the Touch Wifi until recently. Some suggest perhaps the power supply is failing, as it is the original. Unfortunately, I do not have a second Touch power supply to give it a test. If it is the Wifi that is failing, I suppose I could get a Wifi to ethernet bridge to bypass the internal wifi. Any suggestions to fix the problem?
