Actually, I couldn't do anything from the passcode prompt and couldn't
start the dialer. I thought it was because of the SIM locked because it
worked just before with the SIM unlocked. After a reboot it works fine.
I'm closing this report and will file another one if I can reproduce the
dialer

I get this crash when an incoming calls ends and the caller hangs up.
This is rather frequent.
The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem
regarding unity8. This problem was most recently seen with version
8.00+14.10.20140817-0ubuntu1,
I didn't here back on the bug, however, online accounts and trust-store
now have sufficient Mir support to utilize trust sessions, and we can
therefore remove the rtm14 tag and likely reduce the severity. I will
take care of the Ubuntu tasks.
