I just had my phone hard locked on the PIN unlock screen due to this
issue (screen turned on by an event notification and the ulocking was
disabled due to too many wrong unlock attempts ) ... here swipe will

It seems applying the patch fails on top of 5.3.2, and I expect it'd
fail in more places with 14.04 LTS's Qt 5.2.1 where it'd be needed for

To be clear, this issue was observed on Touch.
Interestingly, we already have a fix for this, but it hasn't landed in
the archive or on Tocuh; the upstart session init has a logrotate job
(/usr/share/upstart/sessions/logrotate.conf) which is used to rotate the
users session init log files. I'd
