The new OOBE design is fixing this issue. If the user is connected to a wifi
network he can still tap on another network, enter the password and connect.
The system automatically disconnects the first network and connects the second

The patch will be included in the 012 PPA starting with a test build
version number 0.99.0+git20130923+17fdf86-0ubuntu11~wily1~test4~qt550,
although do note that because of the GCC5 transition now happening in
wily archives it will probably take a good while now before the PPA is
actually usable
Hm, I cannot reproduce it now on 15.10 even though it used to happen
always. (I always do a clean isntall but my ~ directory is about ten
yours old).

I confirm that this bug is still there.
On a workstation I could not boot with systemd but could successfully boot with
upstart.
I had to manually edit fstab and add the / line to have systemd working again.

Right now if one wants to use an Icon inside a ListItem.Empty or any other
AbstractButton derived class, and disable the item, there is no standard way to
make the Icon look disabled without directly affecting its opacity and/or
