Updating the BIOS on a laptop with no CD and no Windows is a PITA.
It took me an hour to get it right.
$ sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

The File /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.ntpd contains the following line:
# samba4 ntp signing socket

But the line should be
/var/lib/samba/ntp_signd/socket rw,
