Here's a screenshot of a couple of slightly corrupt titlebars.
Ignore the messed up window contents. That's just a screenshot bug I'll

I used that solution for months, but eventually became sick of it and
stopped using my Ubuntu phone because of this bug. It may be operator
dependant, but I required an activate code each time I turned on my
phone or turned off flight mode. It seems that (at least with my
operator, Sonera Finland)
With the GMail desktop UI, resizing the window causes it to remove focus
from the input elements in the compose UI - you can reproduce this with
the GMail webapp on a desktop.
I suspect this is relevant, given that the webapp is resized on the
tablet when the OSK is displayed
