or race and I have not been able to track it down yet. If it is some

I have this issue with a fresh install of 16.04 on my HP dv6. Same
situation after updating. No external monitor or dock is connected.
There isn't even a docking port on my laptop. When lid is closed display
backlight turns off but device doesn't suspend. I am able to suspend
normally via command

Installing upstart didn't work well on Xenial, so I looked into this some more.

Well it looks like I have the same problem with JetBrains Upsource.
When starting from systemd it never manages to start up, the Java VM runs out
of memory before finishing the startup every single time.

The standard volume control in the settings manager on unity does not reassign
HDMI correctly.
If I use the PulseAudio volume control (pavucontrol) only

After a lot of digging, I found a solution/workaround. The problem is
the nfs version, in short:
sudo mount -t nfs o nfsvers=2 server:/
does the trick. Anyway, here is what happens without specifying the
nfsvers option:
sudo mount -t nfs -v server:/
mount.nfs: timeout set for Sat May 21
I think photo roll should be possible too, but only the photos you just
made in the "quick snapshot" mode. Otherwise you can't verify, that the
photo was done correct.

X runs fine from the login manager, but if I remove the login manager
(apt-get remove sddm), X can't be run from the text login: running
startx don't even change to graphic mode and causes errors (log
attached).
This used to work at least up to 15.04

I have the same problem with Xenial, recently upgraded from Trusty.
In Trusty my BT loudspeaker worked correctly, and now I have
module-bluez5-device.c: Refused to switch profile to a2dp_sink: Not
connected
when I try to switch to A2DP, and in HSP mode the quality is terrible.
