16.04 apparmor, aa-logprof and log
Hi sles; thanks for the bug report.
On systems with auditd installed, the /var/log/audit/audit.log file is
used.
AppArmor's dbus mediation is managed through dbus itself. Its logs would
not go into the kern.log file.
It might be about time to remove /var/log/messages; at least I don't
have it
@Sadi Yumuşak (sa-yu) #31:
I had the same problem you documented, and found it was because of a
conflicting pkg-config. In my case, I had one installed in
~/.linuxbrew/bin/pkg-config, which was picked up in my PATH before
/usr/bin/pkg-config. The solution was to temporarily rename the one in
"/sys/devices/pci[0-9]*/**/config r,"
Doesn't that give the browser access to all PCI devices? :)
It's just a graphics device issue so the right device should be:
/dev/dri/*
In theory Unity8 should be automatically assigning these rights to all
GUI apps automatically. Not sure if it does.

First of all I'd like to say that by default
/etc/apparmor/logprof.conf

And there is kern.log , which seems to be better suited for reading
