Is this on upgrades to artful? or clean-install / clean-bring up of

Note that artful will no longer have ifupdown installed on clean-install, and
thus /etc/network/interfaces changes for clean-installs will have no effect at
all. And one should instead use netplan e.g. $ sudo netplan
I believe the sysctl.d changes, as recommended by lxd upstream for
optimal hosts, should be rolled out on the hosts that run armhf & s390x
testing.

Correct that there is a bug with debootstrap above, if both this new
systemd & resolvconf are being bootstrapped together. (as both
src:systemd and src:resolvconf try to setup /etc/resolv.conf symlink)
Dropping resolvconf from important should resolve this.

I'm not sure how to fix this, or rather how to make src:systemd match
what src:resolvconf used to do.
In the end the system should end up with /etc/resolv.conf pointing at
/run/systemd/resolve/stub-resolv.conf. Yet from the log, it seems that
debootstrap (?!) is running, however, one is not
That's weird. Do you think that the VM might affect this behavior? I
just installed latest 17.10 build and Libreoffice 5.4 from debs in
Virtualbox and the issue seems gone
