Despite the issue described in bug #1740894, on Dell XPS 15 9575 the
airplane mode key actually worked flawlessly out-of-the-box after
installing Cosmic at beginning
@Mario: Yeah, history seems to repeat itself.
Personally I think it would help if you could file a bug specifically
about the Dell issue, based on the proposed fix of xkb-data. The xkb-
data fix is probably a step in the right direction, even if it triggers
that regression.
What do you think?
I've have now played around a bit and backported the patch mentioned in
my last comment. It seems to work fine. You may want to test it
installing "libqt5printsupport5" from my ppa:

A few weeks ago I submitted the similar Bug #1791367 for airplane mode
key not working on Asus ZenBook Flip UX561UD. We did some tests updating
xkb-data via ppa by Gunnar Hjalmarsson (gunnarhj). This update worked on
the Asus, but broke the airplane mode key on Dell XPS 15 9575 2-in-1
where it had

In Xenial, /usr/share/ghostscript/9.5/iccprofiles was a directory.
In Bionic, it is a symlink to /usr/share/color/icc/ghostscript.
The Bionic package needs to use dpkg-maintscript-helper to ensure the
transition is done properly.

The root cause of this problem is Zentyal who provide an updated version
of libapt-pkg5.0 in their repositories (version 1.5.1), but no updated
version of the apt package (which will be taken from the Ubuntu
repositories, currently version 1.2.29). These two packages do not fit
together.
Just tried "ip token set" in 18.10 (Cosmic Cuttlefish), fails with the same
error:
