FWIW snapd mounts and unmounts a squashfs on startup to determine
whether the system can mount squashfs's. It does this using mount, and
cleans up with umount -l. That is, it's not via systemd in this instance
in particular.
I'm setting it as invalid for snapd, but if this behaviour is somehow
ls -latr /proc//fd
would be nice too, to see what it has open/holding/reading.

I do not know at this time if any fix to this will be SRUed to Xenial.
A proper generic fix will require a new userspace api. The owner
conditional can not be properly generically answered without subject
context. This api can be fixed for the inquiring tasks
Something is odd executing the command twice in a row does produce the

Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to klibc in Ubuntu.
So, I'm not sure if this is a kernel headers/assembly bug (as ioctl is
used from there), gcc-9 bug, or the combination of the two.
I'm going to save argc, and use a saved copy for now, but this needs
deeper analysis. This sounds like a retpoline mitigation.

Somehow... argc == optind condition is false, and instead of
Rebuilding with gcc-8 => losetup works
Rebuilding with gcc-9 => losetup does not work
Rebuilding with gcc-9 & -fcf-protection=none & -fno-stack-clash-protection does
not work (and double checked that there are no gcc invocations in the build log
without those two options set)

How is content hub looking up the confinement (label) of the task. Are
you using pids, looking through /proc//, using aa_gettaskcon?
This will help with creating an interface wrapper for query_label so we
can pass the needed information to the kernel.

All the kernel config options mentioned are enabled, at least in the Ubuntu
19.10 kernel. And i would have expected them to be on in previous releases too,
but didn't check.
I do wonder if ubuntu-drivers-common should detect that hw rng device is
available and offer
