GTK file chooser shows entries from /sys, /dev, etc.
Status in gtk+3.0 package in
Added plasma-nm as affected package. I think it may be more of an issue
with KDE/Plasma than NetworkManager itself, since it only affects
Kubuntu and not other *buntu editions which also use NetworkManager.

Title:
Kubuntu 17.10 requires Wi-Fi
Public bug reported:
GTK3 applications which use client-side decorations (CSD), such as GNOME
Disks, are shown with an "extra" standard titlebar on Kubuntu 17.10 Beta
1. This standard titlebar is redundant and appears to be a regression.
** Affects: kwin (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Public bug reported:
Connecting to a Wi-Fi network on Kubuntu 17.10 (Beta 1, with Plasma
5.10.5) requires the password twice, on both the live session and the
installed system. This is similar to, but may not be identical to,
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1572244.
Attached the output of mount as requested.

Public bug reported:
On Kubuntu 17.10 Alpha 1, the GTK file chooser shows several unwanted
entries from /sys, /dev, etc. For me, this occurs in the GTK3 file
chooser opened from Firefox, GNOME Disks, etc. At the time of writing, I
haven't tested whether it occurs in the GTK2 chooser as well. I
Even after applying all updates on Ubuntu GNOME 17.04, my Bluetooth
audio device doesn't show up in the Sound settings. The workaround
mentioned in comment #167 still works.

I got a bluetoothd crash, but I cannot get apport to report it (nothing

Bluetooth audio works on KDE (Kubuntu). If KDE (kubuntu-desktop) is
installed alongside GNOME, it works
The Bluetooth device works as an audio output device just fine in the
live session. Perhaps this is broken by some update? I tried downgrading
all PulseAudio-related packages to the original release versions, but no
luck.
Re comment #167: The fix does not work for me (Ubuntu GNOME 16.10).

It asked for the password twice even on a freshly installed system, not
just in a live session.

mountall has been updated to version 2.54ubuntu0.14.10.1 through utopic-
updates in Ubuntu 14.10 (Utopic Unicorn), and the EFI directory
/boot/efi is now mounted with proper permissions even if the mount
options field is set to defaults in /etc/fstab. Thank you for fixing
the bug.
