How does it prevent users to install security updates? Those are
automatically downloaded and applied in background by unattendeed-
upgrade. Also software-properties is used to configure sources, not to

There is no intend here to block any fix for stable serie but in case
that was not clear enough or if the SRU team didn't feel comfortable
with hirsute lacking behind and I uploaded back the patches but I'm
tagging the bug as 'block-proposed' instead which should be enough
incensitive to sort out

uploaded now so that serie is going to be added as a target to the bug
when it gets reviewed and accepted

is why I first asked about it on Ubuntu's official discourse forum[6].
Canonical's Sebastien Bacher encouraged me to open this ticket. I've
copied over some parts of the last librsvg SRU ticket[3]. I hope this
is fine.

Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your
description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful

Thanks for the work but it there any work to upstream those changes? I'm
not happy to carry a sleep(1) hack in our package unless there is a
strong reason and we are working on a way to replace it by a better
solution
