I have had confirmation that while the Indian Geospatial Information Regulation
Bill, 2016 is still in draft form and has not been enacted, the publishing of
maps and mapping activity is tightly controlled and there is an existing
frame
The changes are around the Kashmir region. Google says that the region
is in the same time zone as India, UTC+5:30. I am seeking legal advice
on the correct map update, but from what I can see the Kashmir region
should be shown as part of India.

mediascanner was added during the big U8 MIR push. Speaking to seb128
and davmor2 a couple of questions/potential issues come up:

When running Unity 8 on my classic desktop I have to enter my password
in to, for example, the store login.
If I am entering text using a real keyboard I still see the character
displayed in clear as I am typing. I don't think it should do that.
