The suggested work-around doesn't apply - this bug is about the web
browser on the phone. It's still impossible to paste into text fields.

If you want web app using Chrome, just go to desired web page (Gmail for
example) and then in Chrome Settings menu choose Tools Create application
shortcuts... It will make web app out of any page and you can put it to
launcher etc.

Just a note, that this is solvable if you use Google Chrome to create
web apps instead of Firefox. But since my Chrome is constantly crashing
in Ubuntu 14.04 I would rather use Firefox based web apps which are now
not usable for me without paste option.

I use LastPass to generate very long passwords. It is, then, virtually
impossible to log in into webapps for me.
