Unusual things about my phones you might want to try:
Language = English (Australia)
Apps = none installed, just a fresh image
Brightness = 100% (manual, not auto)
Lock the screen = Never
SIM = none installed
Leave it on System Settings and the screen dims in seemingly less than a
minute.

I tried to reproduce this on a krilin with 10.1 (which should be the
same) and could not, the screen stayed at max brightness after 10+ mins
Is adjust brightness set to manual or auto?
