Hi Gunnar,
sorry for the long delay. A recent update caused a problems on my
Kubuntu installation. I wasn't careful enough in my attempts to repair
and ended up with a broken system.
On the positive side, this means that I can now check if the bug exists in a
fresh installation of Kubuntu
How is this not a high priority issue? Deletion of a working config
file should be a high priority, period, shouldn't it? I had a working
14.04 system and ran updates with the result of breakage all over the
system (intel drivers don't run in SNA mode right for me, need UXA to
work properly).

Firefox, vim, Terminator, or Gedit in the foreground does not affect the

utility now is completely broken. If so, then yes, this certainly does

I’m not seeing the crash, but I do see the incomplete rendering (the
page is not entirely blank, but it’s definitely not rendered correctly,

vertical blinking line in the password box (so: 'showing' it is
