skt.diaz, default radeon driver means the one that is enabled by default
in Ubuntu when one runs either a live environment or installed. Also,
radeon and fglrx are two different drivers (open source versus closed).
Just to clarify, xorg.xserver, or in this case xorg-xserver-*, is not a
graphics
config (as image not sure where it is stored)

While I was preparing to update bios I noticed that there were 2 settings for
touchpad in the bios menus. Mine was set to advanced so I set it to the
first option and booted. The touchpad now works. You have my apologies for the

I just installed nouveau and after some hick-ups with plasma (mostly
related to dual-monitor) it's working fine now. I was able to

I traced it back to the following:
Before and after the upgrade to 15.04 I was running kernel 4.0 (same as
reporter). Apparently with this kernel something doesn't want to trace
(whatever that means in this context). As a result no 'pack' file is generated

Ubuntu 10.04 LTS is no longer supported, do you still have this problem on
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS or higher?
