Oh nice thanks for the workaround, just tried a similar udev rule and it
seems to work great. Re-enabled modem manager service, applied the MM
ignore value with a rule, and can see the /dev/ttyACM* port stays the
same between resets of the device. We'll add it to udev rules we tell
folks to use

OK, I can see one problem already. While Unity8 does its own screen
rotation without notifying Mir, Mir cannot do anything to help it update
the cursor bounds. Because Unity8 is not telling Mir that the display
has rotated, Mir will keep the old cursor bounds...

1.10.0 is now available upstream and will reach Debian experimental
shortly. Packaging is in Debian git as usual.
I fixed the two issues that Tyler reported in upstream dbus, and applied
Iain's /run/dbus fix in the Debian packaging.
